Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medications and referrals.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Stay updated with advancements in neurology and participate in clinical research when applicable.

Consultant Neurologist

Position Overview:

• The neurologist is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and managing patients with neurological disorders. This includes conditions such as epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, migraines, and neurodegenerative diseases. The neurologist collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Evaluation: Conduct thorough neurological examinations and take detailed medical histories.
• Diagnosis: Interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., MRI, CT scans, EEGs) to identify neurological conditions.
• Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, which may include medication management, lifestyle modifications, and referrals to other specialists.
• Patient Management: Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Patient Education: Provide information to patients and their families about neurological conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
