Job summary

Simon-Kucher in India is seeking a junior consultant with 1–2 years of relevant experience to join our Life Sciences practice. You’ll work on high-impact projects for global clients, analyze pricing and market access challenges, and contribute to knowledge building while collaborating with a global team.

How You Will Create An Impact

This is a unique opportunity to help build and shape Simon-Kucher's growing Life Sciences presence in India, while working on high-impact projects for leading Life Sciences clients globally. You will combine hands-on client work with the opportunity to contribute to the growth of our local team, capabilities, and expertise.

• Building our India Life Sciences - Play an active role in growing our Life Sciences practice in India, contributing to knowledge and capability building, team development, and shaping how we collaborate with our global Life Sciences organization.
• Strategy and Data Analysis - Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to solve commercial challenges across pricing and market access, go-to-market strategy, sales, and broader growth topics, translating insights into actionable recommendations.
• Project Delivery - Take ownership of project workstreams and collaborate with teams to develop analyses, financial models, presentations, and client workshops.
• Client Interaction - Work directly with clients through meetings, workshops, and presentations, helping translate complex analyses into clear and impactful recommendations.
• Global Collaboration - Work closely with Simon-Kucher colleagues and clients across markets, bringing global expertise to India while building a strong international network.
• Problem Solving and Innovation - Bring fresh perspectives and creative solutions to complex business challenges and emerging opportunities within Life Sciences.

Job Requirements

• 1-2 years of consulting experience in top tiers is good to have (Fresh graduates would be considered with strong academic record)
• Strong interest OR prior experience in working with global Healthcare & Life Sciences clients, with an understanding of commercial topics such as marketing, pricing, sales, and growth strategy if prior experience
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve complex business problems, using quantitative, conceptual, and analytical skills to develop clear and actionable recommendations
• Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable taking ownership while working both independently and collaboratively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English and a strong client-service mindset
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with an inclusive and empathetic approach to working across cultures, geographies, and globally distributed teams.
• Strong quantitative capabilities, with proficiency in Excel and experience with analytical and visualization tools such as
• Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Flexibility to work across global time zones, including regular overlap with clients and colleagues in Europe and North America and, when needed, meetings outside standard India business hours
• Ability to work from the office or client site 3- 4 days per week, in line with our hybrid working model
