Job summary

Black & Veatch seeks an experienced KloudGin Implementation Consultant to drive configurations and customizations based on business requirements under the Solution Architect. You will apply hands-on Java expertise to design, implement, and maintain software configurations aligned with business process designs and application specs.

You will collaborate with cross-functional BV & KloudGin teams, including Product, DevOps, and SMEs, while engaging with onshore and offshore colleagues to deliver

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Java/J2EE experience.
• Experience in the utility industry and understanding of its business processes.
• Experience implementing EAM & FSM solutions (e.g., IBM Maximo, Oracle WAM/WACS, Oracle WACS).
• Experience configuring custom objects, layouts, reports, dashboards, and workflow rules.
• Familiarity with MongoDB.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent communication abilities.
• Experience with version control systems and quality development practices.
• Nice-to-have: integrating third-party systems and data modeling knowledge.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Job Summary

As a KloudGin Implementation Consultant, you will be responsible for executing configurations and customizations based on business requirements under the direction of the Solution Architect. This role requires hands‑on experience in Java, involvement in designing, implementing, and maintaining software configurations to align with business process designs and application specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high‑quality, maintainable configurations and code using Java within the KloudGin platform based on defined customer requirements.
• Perform software testing and ensure customer‑specific configurations meet business needs.
• Debug customer issues and deliver robust, efficient solutions for complex functional and technical problems.
• Work closely with cross‑functional BV & KloudGin teams including Product, DevOps, and Functional Solution SMEs; maintain daily collaboration with onshore and offshore colleagues; and take full ownership of assigned deliverables.
• Develop programs and scripts to build user‑friendly interfaces and enhanced functionalities.
• Assist in diagnosing performance issues, troubleshooting integrations, and resolving offline/online data handling challenges.
• Stay up to date on the latest industry trends, product upgrades, and emerging technologies to continually enhance system capabilities and client value.

• 3+ years of hands‑on technical expertise and experience in Java/J2EE.
• Experience in the utility industry, with a clear understanding of its business processes and operational needs.
• Experience implementing one or more of the EAM (Enterprise Asset Management) & FSM (Field Service Management) solutions:
  • EAM – IBM Maximo, Oracle Work & Asset Management (WAM), Oracle WACS
  • FSM – ClickSoftware, ServiceNow FSM, Salesforce SFS, IFS, or KloudGin.
• Practical experience configuring custom objects, layouts, reports, dashboards, and workflow rules.
• Familiarity with MongoDB is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with excellent communication (oral, written, and listening) abilities.
• Experience working with version control systems and adherence to quality development standards and practices.
• Nice to have: Experience in integrating third‑party systems and solid knowledge of data modeling.
• Bachelor's degree (B.Tech, B.E.) in Computer Science or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience; 4+ years experience in a business/consulting environment.
