Responsibilities

• Lead security and network engineers in a 24x7 support environment.
• Oversee firewall requests, admin of Fortinet, Check Point, Akamai WAF, and Zscaler.
• Monitor incidents, implement preventive measures, and ensure SLA compliance.
• Drive governance, risk, and compliance activities including audits and pen tests.
• Prepare reporting, dashboards, and handover plans for onboarding/offboarding tech.

We are seeking an experienced Associate Manager – Network & Security Operations to lead a team responsible for managing and securing enterprise network and security infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Fortinet Firewalls, Akamai Web Application Firewall (WAF), Check Point Security Technologies, Server Load Balancers, and Zscaler Proxy, along with proven leadership capabilities in a 24x7 managed services environment.

This role requires a technically strong leader who can guide teams, manage escalations, drive operational excellence, support customer engagements, and ensure adherence to SLAs, security standards, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Operations Management

• Lead and mentor a team of security and network engineers in a 24x7 support environment.
• Manage shift rosters, resource planning, and conflict resolution.
• Provide guidance and support for technical escalations.
• Ensure operational efficiency and continuous service improvement.

Security & Infrastructure Management

• Review and approve firewall requests with appropriate security recommendations.
• Oversee administration and support of Fortinet, Check Point, Akamai WAF, Zscaler, and Load Balancing solutions.
• Investigate security incidents and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
• Monitor security alerts, malware incidents, and asset monitoring notifications, ensuring SLA adherence.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

• Track and drive closure of Risk Assessment action items.
• Support closure of observations identified during
  • ISO Audits
  • Configuration Assessments
  • Vulnerability Assessments
  • Internal & External Penetration Tests
• Ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and procedures.

Change & Service Management

• Validate and approve Change Requests submitted by team members.
• Review operational reports and ensure timely submission within agreed SLAs.
• Review daily, weekly, and monthly operational checklists and reports.
• Maintain accurate reporting and governance dashboards.

Customer Engagement & Technical Advisory

• Participate in customer Proof of Concepts (POCs) and provide technical sign-off.
• Deliver value-added recommendations during customer engagements.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies relevant to enterprise security environments.
• Define transition and handover plans for onboarding or offboarding technologies and services.

Documentation & Process Improvement

• Review and enhance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Knowledge Base articles, and operational processes.
• Ensure process standardization and continuous improvement across services.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational governance artefacts.

Platform Oversight

• Review reports and changes related to

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related field.
• Minimum 10+ years of IT Infrastructure/Security experience.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience leading technical teams.
• Strong understanding of enterprise network security architecture and operations.
• Experience working in Managed Services or Global Delivery environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
