Job summary

EY's National Forensics ASU in Mumbai is seeking a Consultant with 3-5 years of Digital Forensics and Cyber Security investigations. You will conduct investigations, analyze data from computers, mobiles and cloud platforms, and prepare formal reports for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science.
• Master of Computer Applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Digital Forensics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience in Digital Forensics and Cyber Security investigations.
• Exposure to industry-standard forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, Cellebrite, Oxygen Forensic Detective, Vound Intella, Magnet AXIOM, X-Ways (preferred), RelOne.
• Experience in forensic acquisition, analysis, and reporting.
• Understanding of cyber incident investigations, insider threat investigations, and evidence handling procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal, soft skills and written communication skills (mandatory).
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Conduct digital forensic investigations and cyber incident response activities.
• Analyze data from computers, mobile devices, email systems, and cloud platforms.
• Prepare investigation reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Maintain chain of custody and evidence integrity throughout investigations.
• Support clients and internal teams during investigations and regulatory matters.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Skills and attributes

To qualify for the role you must have

Qualification

• Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science
• Master of Computer Applications
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Digital Forensics, or a related field.

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in Digital Forensics, Incident Response, Cyber Security Investigations, or eDiscovery
