SymphonyAI is seeking a Consultant – Forecaster / Data Scientist to support demand forecasting and replenishment for retail customers. This UK-facing role focuses on production support and improving forecast accuracy through data analysis and ML techniques.

- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Supply Chain, CS or related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in demand forecasting, data science, analytics, or retail planning.
- Strong understanding of demand planning, replenishment, and forecast accuracy measurement.
- Hands-on experience with Python, Pandas, and data analysis techniques.
- Experience with Docker, GitHub, and model deployment or support processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work in a customer-facing environment and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.

We are looking for a Consultant – Forecaster / Data Scientist to support demand forecasting and replenishment activities for retail customers.
This is a customer-facing role focused on ongoing production support for a UK-based retailer. The ideal candidate will have experience in demand planning, forecasting models, machine learning, and data analysis, along with the ability to work closely with customers to improve forecast accuracy and optimize planning performance.
The role requires strong analytical thinking, hands-on technical capability, and the ability to identify trends, troubleshoot issues, and recommend continuous improvements to forecasting processes.
Job Description
- Provide daily demand forecasts to customers and ensure forecast outputs are delivered accurately and on time.

- Prepare reports, dashboards, and summaries related to forecast accuracy and business performance.
