Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage emergency and trauma patients.
• Provide immediate stabilization and life-saving interventions.
• Lead emergency response and resuscitation activities.
• Perform emergency procedures such as intubation, central line insertion, and trauma management.
• Interpret labs, ECGs, X-rays, CTs, and other diagnostics.
• Coordinate referrals and consultations with specialists.
• Supervise ED operations and patient flow.
• Manage critically ill patients until definitive care is provided.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records.
• Participate in disaster preparedness and mass casualty management.
• Ensure compliance with emergency medicine protocols and quality standards.
• Guide and supervise junior doctors and healthcare teams.
• Conduct clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
• Counsel patients and families regarding emergency care plans.
