Job summary

Freudenberg Group is seeking an Operations Manager in Chennai, India. The role focuses on leading IT system evaluations, implementing hardware and software upgrades, and driving enhancements across IT applications.

You will manage capacity, monitor service levels, and coordinate with team leads to ensure reliable incident handling and adherence to SLAs. Key responsibilities include presenting system improvements, troubleshooting at a senior level, and contributing to new IT solutions such as

Responsibilities

• Evaluates new and complex applications; identifies system requirements through technical leadership.
• Communicates and presents on system enhancements.
• Manages hardware and software implementation and upgrades of systems.
• Troubleshoots software problems at a third level.
• Applies procedures and protocols for software usage.
• Contributes to defining new business requirements and IT solutions (e.g., SAP).
• Implements further improvements of IT applications, technologies or services.
• For Operations Manager: manages capacity allocation and alignment with Team Leads.
• Ensures IT application support and monitoring of one IT application.
• Ensures adherence to SLAs; escalates incidents when needed and tracks resolution.

For Operations Manager

• Manages capacity allocation and alignment with Team Leads
• Responsible and accountable for IT application support & monitoring of one IT application
• Ensures the adherence to defined SLAs, acts as escalation level if incidents are stuck, assigns incidents and tracks the execution state
