Qualifications

• MD/DNB in General Medicine with DM/DNB/DrNB in Cardiology per regulatory requirements.
• 0–5 years of experience after the relevant cardiology qualification; fresh candidates welcome.
• Valid medical registration as per applicable regulations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage patients with various cardiovascular conditions.
• Evaluate and treat patients with hypertension, coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias.
• Conduct outpatient consultations, inpatient rounds, and patient follow-ups.
• Interpret ECGs, echocardiograms, and other cardiac diagnostic investigations within the scope of qualifications and privileges.
• Manage cardiac emergencies and provide timely clinical intervention.
• Coordinate with emergency, intensive care, and other specialty teams for comprehensive patient management.
• Perform cardiology procedures as per qualifications, training, and hospital privileges.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.
• Counsel patients and their families on treatment plans, lifestyle modifications, and preventive cardiac care.
