Seeking a Consulting-level .NETApplication Engineer with expert technical skills designing and developinghighly scalable, distributed systems using .NET 8, C#, MVC, REST APIs, EntityFramework, TypeScript, modern web frameworks, SQL Server, and queue-basedarchitectures. The successful candidate will demonstrate advanced knowledgeof application and data integration, SDLC, design patterns, softwarearchitecture, secure programming principles, cloud development, and modernengineering practices. This individual provides technical leadership andoversight for the design, development, modernization, and implementation ofmid- and long-term solutions to complex business and technical challenges,making high-level engineering design choices and recommending solutionsaligned with strategic business objectives. Drives innovation by continuouslyevaluating emerging technologies and determining how they can be applied tobusiness challenges. Provides technical leadership, mentoring, and designguidance to engineers and development teams. Establishes and promotesefficient, highly scalable, highly available, secure, and supportablearchitecture and engineering practices.

Responsibilities:

• Requiresspecialized depth and breadth of application engineering expertise;interprets complex internal and external business issues, recommends bestpractices, drives innovation, and solves complex problems using a broadenterprise perspective. Works independently with guidance only in the mostcomplex situations, leads technical efforts and teams, and is recognized asan expert within the organization.
• Leadtranslation of complex business requirements into high-level architecture,tech designs, and implementation approaches.
• Providetechnical team leadership, design guidance, code review, mentoring, andsupport for engineering best practices.
• Leadmodernization of legacy .NET applications and migration to current .NET,cloud, and container-based architectures.
• Createand lead proof-of-concept efforts to evaluate architecture, platforms,frameworks, integration patterns, and emerging technologies.
• Design,develop, modernize, and support enterprise web applications, services, APIs,and integration components.
• Establishtechnical roadmaps, design docs, engineering standards, performancebenchmarks, and non-functional requirements.
• Overseequality practices including peer review, automated testing, unit testing,security review, and production-readiness validation.
• Leadinfrastructure and application capacity/scalability planning, performanceanalysis, and forecasting for planned growth.
• Staycurrent on emerging technologies, tools, and engineering practices andprovide recommendations and KT to others.
• Applydesign patterns, software modeling, security principles, DevSecOps, CI/CD,TDD, and other modern engineering methodologies.
• Representthe engineering team in EA, governance, change review, and technical decisionforums as needed.
• Research,Analyze, Design and POC
• Leadvisebnical conversations and collaborate across departments, teams,architecture, security, infrastructure, and business.
• Designintegration and modernization approaches for introducing new software andservices into existing enterprise environments.
• Understandcompany business drivers, regulatory requirements, risks, and opportunitiesand incorporate them into technical recommendations.
