Job summary

Hitachi Energy India Limited in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Site Manager to own construction site activities across the full project lifecycle, from erection through commissioning. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of the construction site and lead all site activities throughout construction, erection, start-up, and commissioning phases. Plan and coordinate site execution activities in collaboration with the Project Manager. Ensure project deliverables are executed according to contractual requirements, quality standards, project schedule, and budget. Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, contractors, local authorities, and project stakeholders on site. Implement and maintain site-specific HSE plans and promote a strong safety culture across all teams and subcontractors. Manage site budgets, monitor costs, prepare forecasts, and communicate project deviations and corrective actions. Oversee subcontractor performance, claims management, payment certifications, and contractual compliance. Support technical discussions with customers and project stakeholders when required. Ensure all project documentation is maintained, updated, and available with the latest revisions for site execution. Capture and share lessons learned to support continuous improvement across the organization. Coordinate commissioning activities and ensure timely project handover to customers.

Your Background Required Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Manager, Construction Manager, or similar role in EPC projects or high-voltage installations.
