Job summary

Seventh Contact Hiring Solutions is seeking an experienced Computer Vision/AI engineer to lead end-to-end deployment of inspection solutions for manufacturing sites. The role focuses on model development, evaluation, and production integration.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, reliable eye-in-the-loop quality checks, with travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• 4–7 years of experience in developing and deploying Computer Vision / Vision AI solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Computer Vision concepts: image processing, object detection, segmentation, anomaly detection.
• Proficiency in Linux and Python for AI model development, experimentation, and production support.
• Hands-on understanding of industrial cameras, lenses, lighting, and edge computing hardware.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end Computer Vision and AI solution deployment from requirement analysis, model selection, validation, commissioning, and production acceptance.


• Develop and optimize vision AI models, image-processing techniques, datasets, and evaluation processes to achieve required accuracy and reliability.


• Collaborate with automation teams to select and integrate cameras, lenses, lighting, triggering systems, and edge computing hardware for inspection solutions.


• Deploy, configure, troubleshoot, and improve Computer Vision models in Linux-based production environments across customer manufacturing sites.


• Lead dataset management, model performance monitoring, retraining, version control, and documentation throughout the product lifecycle.


• Work closely with cross-functional teams (software, electrical, mechanical, automation, and customers) to deliver scalable AI-powered quality inspection systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.


• 4-7 years of experience in developing and deploying Computer Vision / Vision AI solutions, preferably in industrial or manufacturing domains.


• Strong knowledge of Computer Vision concepts including image processing, classification, object detection, segmentation, anomaly detection, and model evaluation.


• Proficiency in Linux environments and Python for AI model development, experimentation, data processing, automation, and production support.


• Hands-on understanding of industrial cameras, lenses, lighting, image acquisition systems, and edge computing hardware.


• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, automation systems, quality inspection applications, and willingness to travel for customer deployments and commissioning.
