Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled CAD design engineer with extensive experience in Creo and plastic part design. The role involves creating detailed CAD models, performing design for manufacturing (DFM) and assembly (DFA) analyses, collaborating with plastic tooling and injection molding partners, and contributing to structural analysis and DFMEA activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 4+ years of professional engineering experience
• Highly proficient in CAD, with specific experience and proficiency in Creo
• Strong knowledge of part design, GD&T, and SPI standards for plastic design
• Expertise in working with plastic tool makers and injection molders to ensure design for manufacturing requirements
• Skilled in concept generation and creative problem‑solving
• Experience designing electromechanical enclosures
• Knowledge of good design practices and experience with DFMEA
• In‑depth mechanical engineering design and analysis skills, including structural analysis of molded parts
• Proficiency in Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA)
• Experience with rapid prototyping
• Demonstrated ability to effectively work with cross‑functional stakeholders
