Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a highly qualified researcher with a PhD or equivalent in the life sciences to design and oversee advanced agentic workflows. The role emphasizes Python-based scientific programming, reproducible research practices, and rigorous validation of computational outcomes.

You will develop multi-step analyses, manage scientific datasets, and craft criteria for automated grading of results, contributing to cutting-edge life sciences research pipelines.

• Experience working with scientific datasets, computational tools, and reproducible research workflows.
• Ph.D., postdoctoral or equivalent research experience in the life sciences; advanced research training.

Full-time (40 hours/week), with at least 4 hours overlap during PST business hours

Requirements

• Ph.D., postdoctoral, or equivalent research experience in the life sciences, with strong demonstrated computational and scientific-programming experience.
• Strong scientific programming experience, particularly in Python.
• Experience performing multi-step computational scientific analyses.
• Ability to independently validate both scientific reasoning and computational outputs.
• Experience working with scientific datasets, computational tools, and reproducible research workflows.
