Job summary

Iamops is seeking an experienced Compliance Associate to help clients strengthen their security posture and meet global compliance standards. You will assess risks, implement controls, conduct audits, and support compliance initiatives for diverse engagements.

The role emphasizes ISO 27001/27701, NIST, and GDPR alignment, with responsibility for risk assessments, policy governance, audit coordination, reporting to management, and security training for client teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related field required.
• Minimum 2 years of information security, IT security compliance experience.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security risk assessments, audits, and threat intelligence analysis to identify risks, vulnerabilities, and emerging security threats and recommend remediation plans.
• Develop and implement information security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Drive compliance with security frameworks (ISO 27001, ISO 27701, NIST Controls) and privacy regulations, including GDPR.
• Design and implement security controls for systems, networks, and applications.
• Implement data classification and data protection practices.
• Plan and coordinate internal and external security audits while ensuring continuous enforcement of security policies and ongoing security monitoring.
• Prepare and present periodic risk, audit, and compliance reports to management, and facilitate Management Review Meetings (MRMs).
• Deliver security awareness and training sessions. Collaboration: Work closely with clients and internal teams to improve security and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
