AlphaSense is seeking a Compliance Analyst to support the global data privacy program within the Enterprise Compliance Risk Management (ECRM) team. About the Role

The Compliance Analyst will provide essential operational support for our global data privacy program within the Enterprise Compliance Risk Management (ECRM) team. In this entry-level role, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate execution of our Subject Rights Request (SRR) process. You will partner closely with management to ensure that all data access and deletion requests are handled with the highest level of diligence, ensuring our data privacy framework is operational, auditable, and compliant.

Who You Are
  • Diligent and Detail-Oriented: You possess exceptional attention to detail, which is critical for accurately processing and documenting Subject Rights Requests. You are comfortable tracking actions, owners, and deadlines and committed to diligently honoring access requests according to defined procedures.
  • A Foundational Compliance Specialist (Advantageous): A previous educational background or entry-level experience in privacy, data protection concepts, or regulatory compliance is an advantage. Familiarity with global privacy frameworks and experience working with European regulated companies, is also considered a plus.
  • An Advocate for Trust: You can empathize with internal and external stakeholders who rely on trustworthy data handling, including customers and internal business teams. You understand how privacy commitments translate into operational requirements and can articulate privacy impacts clearly and concisely.
  • Communication and Collaboration oriented: You are skilled at gathering necessary information from business owners, data owners, and champions to execute requests accurately. You use written communication and collaboration tools effectively so that stakeholders understand what is required for request fulfillment.
  • Process-Driven: You see opportunities to refine existing templates and workflows to make privacy operations scalable and repeatable. You are motivated by following and improving privacy capabilities in emerging areas.
  • Passionate: You understand the value of a strong privacy posture and take pride in helping the organization earn and maintain trust by ensuring adherence to privacy by design principles in day-to-day operations.
  • A Problem-Solving Investigator: You are willing to dive into details to support the fulfillment of data requests, tracing data elements across systems and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive responses. You can synthesize findings into clear documentation for record-keeping and management.
What You’ll Do
  • Manage the end-to-end processing of Subject Rights Requests (SRRs) from intake and identity verification through to fulfillment, ensuring all responses are timely, structured, and well-documented.
  • Work with business managers to accurately gather data relevant to SRRs, including data on use, purpose, legal basis, transfer, and retention.
  • Support adherence to privacy assessment and control processes by documenting and following up on agreed actions related to operational findings.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the Subject Rights Request (SRR) process by streamlining workflows, improving documentation, and driving operational efficiencies to support scalable, consistent execution.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, including preparing concise summaries and reports for Senior Management in ECRM.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, Ability to track actions, owners, and deadlines, Ability to gather information from business and data owners, Effective use of written communication and collaboration tools, Willingness to trace data elements across systems, Educational background or entry-level experience in privacy, data protection, or regulatory compliance (Advantageous), Familiarity with global privacy frameworks (Advantageous), Experience working with European regulated companies (Advantageous)
