Job summary

Tata AIA Life Insurance is seeking a Compliance & Legal professional in Mumbai to oversee advertising and product compliance. The role requires 5–7 years in the life insurance sector, with strong knowledge of IRDAI guidelines and regulatory reporting.

You will liaise with product and marketing teams and support audits. Responsibilities include reviewing all communications, vetting PMC documentation, and providing ongoing legal advisory on product launches and modifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws required; 5–7 years in life insurance compliance or related field preferred.
• Master of Laws or Company Secretary qualification enhances regulatory coverage and product vetting.
• Experience with IRDAI guidelines and PMC processes is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

Advertising Compliance

• Review and approve advertisements, marketing collaterals, and digital campaigns for regulatory compliance.
• Ensure adherence to IRDAI guidelines, internal policies, and product approvals.
• Advise business and marketing teams on advertising compliance requirements.
• Identify and mitigate compliance risks in customer-facing communications.
• Maintain approval records and support regulatory audits and inspections.
• Conduct training and awareness sessions on advertisement compliance.
• Drive automation and innovation to increase efficiency and productivity.

Product Compliance

• Vet Product Management Committee (PMC) documentation for new product launches and modifications.
• Draft, review, and ensure regulatory and legal accuracy of policy documents.
• Manage endtoend legal support for new product launches and product modifications.
• Establish and maintain consistency mechanisms across PMC approvals, policy wordings, and regulatory filings.
• Provide ongoing advisory support to product and business teams.

Advisory

• Evaluate innovative product propositions, including wellness offerings, health management services, and valueadded services.
• Assess new and evolving IFSC business models under applicable regulatory frameworks.
• Provide operations advisory for Individual and Group business lines.
• Interpret regulations, evaluate industry practices, and conduct extensive legal research.

Internal & External Reporting

• Prepare managementlevel reports.
• Coordinate and support AIA group reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting
