Agoda is seeking a Full Stack/Backend Engineer for a 6-month contract in Gurugram, India. You will work in an agile team and touch multiple Agoda systems handling millions of users daily.

You’ll develop frontend with React/Redux/TypeScript and backend in C#, Scala or Kotlin, leveraging private cloud infrastructure. The role emphasizes data-driven decisions, A/B testing, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any stream with coding experience or completing a software engineering-related BootCamp
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Preferably less than two years of experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English with great problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Understanding of basic data structures and algorithms.

Responsibilities

This role is a 6-month contract based in Gurugram, India.

In this role, you’ll get to:

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Understanding of basic data structures and algorithms.

It’s great if you have:

• Experience in any form of data persistence (RDBMSs, NoSQL).
• Some understanding of modern frontend, backend or mobile technology e.g. React, Vue, Kotlin, C#, Angular, Flutter, Native iOS and Android Apps.
• Experience with automated CI/CD systems, test driven development, clean software architectures and SOLID principals.
• GitHub profile especially contributing to open source projects.
