Lenskart.com is seeking a high-ownership candidate to关闭 the gap between what we spend and what we should spend, building a data-led, AI-enabled commercial engine across manufacturing inputs, logistics, retail and corporate spend.
You will own strategic sourcing, supplier strategy and advanced analytics to drive YoY P&L impact. The role requires partnering with founders and senior leadership to transform commercial decisions across geographies.
Transform how Lenskart buys, negotiates and creates value from every rupee it spends.
Lenskart is scaling rapidly across manufacturing, retail, supply chain and multiple geographies. At this scale, commercial decisions are no longer just about procurement. They are a strategic lever for growth, margin and competitive advantage.
The opportunity is to bring greater intelligence, discipline and technology into how we manage external spend, from manufacturing inputs and logistics to retail, technology and corporate categories.
Your mandate is to close the gap between what we spend and what we should spend and create a commercial engine that is data-led, AI-enabled and deeply connected to the business.
This is a high-ownership role for someone who enjoys solving complex, ambiguous business problems and turning those solutions into measurable outcomes.
The goal is to move from fragmented information and manual decision-making to a system where the data tells us where the opportunity is and technology helps us act on it.
Own the commercial opportunity across a broad spend universe:
Direct: Frames, lenses, coatings, accessories, packaging and manufacturing inputs
Indirect: Store CapEx and OpEx, marketing, technology and corporate spend
Supply Chain: Logistics, last-mile, lab-to-store, make-vs-buy and network optimisation
You will be expected to identify structural opportunities, develop category strategies and deliver measurable YoY P&L impact through should-cost, TCO, value engineering and smarter commercial models.
Lead some of Lenskart’s highest-value commercial negotiations while establishing greater negotiation rigour across the organisation.
This includes developing stronger supplier strategies, benchmarking markets, understanding cost structures, defining negotiation playbooks and creating clear walk-away positions.
The objective is not simply to negotiate harder, but to fundamentally improve the economics of the relationships we enter into.
This role sits at the intersection of multiple parts of the business.
You will work closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Retail, Technology and Marketing, as well as the founders and senior leadership team, on problems where the answer is not always obvious.
You will be expected to:
We are looking for someone who thinks like a business leader, not a functional specialist.
You may come from strategy, consulting, business operations, supply chain, sourcing, procurement, corporate development or a high-growth operating environment.
What matters is that you have demonstrated:
Experience with manufacturing, APAC, China or Middle East supply ecosystems is a strong advantage.
This is not a traditional procurement role.
You will have the opportunity to work on some of the most consequential commercial problems at Lenskart, with visibility into the decisions that shape margin, supply chain, capital allocation and growth.
You will work closely with the founders and senior leadership, operate across the full business and have significant ownership over the direction of the commercial function.
The scale is substantial: 2,500+ stores, hundreds of suppliers, multiple geographies and an increasingly complex manufacturing and supply chain ecosystem.
The opportunity is to combine business problem solving, commercial strategy, supply chain thinking and technology to create a capability that can materially change Lenskart’s economics.
