As a Combustion Devices Engineer, you will own the design, development, and hot-fire qualification of the VORTEX-1 Rotating Detonation Engine (RDE). You are not just building another rocket engine; you are harnessing continuous supersonic detonation waves to fundamentally rewrite the cost-to-orbit equation. You will work at the bleeding edge of physics, pushing additively manufactured copper alloys to their thermal limits.
BS/MS/PhD in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or Physics with a deep focus on reacting flows and thermodynamics.
