Job summary

State Street Corporation in Pune, India, seeks a Senior Associate for Collateral processing to ensure timely and accurate cash and securities deliveries for US-region clients. You will manage wire transfers, maintain regulatory-compliant records, and coordinate with internal teams to resolve settlement queries.

The role requires graduation in Commerce and at least 4 years in a similar position, with familiarity in MCH and IMT systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with client service team or directly to client to ensure seamless cash delivery.
• Maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Process bilateral and triparty collateral instructions in accordance with approved procedures, valid client or investment-manager instructions and applicable market deadlines.
• Handle cash collateral payments and receipts, cash segregation, securities collateral movements, security segregation and related cash accounting activities.
• Wire Transfer Processing: Receive, verify, and process incoming and outgoing wire transfers, ensuring timely and accurate settlement.
• Review instructions for completeness and accuracy, including transaction direction, account information, collateral coding and processing requirements.
• Monitor processing queues and applications, investigate exceptions and elevate time-sensitive or unresolved items promptly.
• Complete assigned controls and retain clear, accurate and audit-ready evidence of processing, review, approvals and follow-up actions.
• Coordinate with internal operations teams, client-facing teams and other stakeholders to resolve instruction or settlement queries.

Who we are looking for

We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate in Collateral processing Team responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of Cash and Security deliveries, Payments etc. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in maintaining our highly standards of operational excellence and client satisfactions. Collateral processing Team plays a critical role in optimizing cash and Security management for our clients. The primary objective is to ensure timely and accurate delivery. Collateral processing Team is a part of Global Delivery which has Cash and Security operation is supported in India, Pune office for US region.

The team you will be joining is a part of Global Delivery, Collateral processing. Cash and Security processing and team is responsible to keep track on client deliverables which is precisely based on timeline to meet KPI. The primary objective is to ensure the client deliverables meet timeliness and accuracy. Be a part of this team which will give you an exposure to understand how State Street tracks and monitors processing and settlements for their clients and provides real time information.
