Job summary

Cognizant is hiring for a Hybrid role in India, requiring 6–9 years of experience in Application Support, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Middleware, with Azure DevOps, Kubernetes, and Ansible expertise. The position involves Banking/Financial Services domain experience, and work from client office with hybrid scheduling.

The candidate should have strong skills in CI/CD, vulnerability patching, Linux/Unix, and ITSM tooling.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of experience in Application Support, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Middleware Administration, preferably in Banking/Financial Services.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environment.
• Strong hands-on experience in Azure DevOps (ADO), CI/CD Pipelines, Release Management, and Ansible Playbook Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience in Kubernetes including Deployments, Services, Ingress, Helm Charts, PVC/Persistent Storage, RBAC & Namespace Management, Pod Affinity/Anti-Affinity, Container & Platform Troubleshooting.
• Strong proficiency in JBoss/WildFly Administration, deployment management, datasource configuration, JVM tuning, and issue troubleshooting.
• Good knowledge of Unix/Linux Administration and Shell Scripting.
• Working knowledge of Temenos T24/TAFJ architecture, environment setup, deployment, COB support, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in Vulnerability Management & Security Patching across Linux, JBoss, Container Images, and Enterprise Applications.
• Strong understanding of Cloud, Infrastructure, Networking, Storage, High Availability, Resilience, and Production Support models.
• Experience with ITSM tools such as BMC Remedy/ServiceNow for Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, stakeholder management, and multitasking skills.

Work Mode - Hybrid

Shift Timing - 1:30 PM to 10:30 PM & 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM ( Hybrid - 3 days work from Client office )
