Job summary

Orchids The International School in Bengaluru is seeking a Robotics Teacher (Female only) to inspire students through hands-on learning in robotics, coding, automation, and STEM education.

The ideal candidate will deliver engaging lessons, guide students in designing, building, and programming robotic systems, and foster creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking across age groups. This is a full-time role at Orchids The International School (Yelahanka ICSE).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, IT, or related field.
• B.Ed. is preferred for school teaching roles.
• Certification or hands-on experience in robotics, coding, Arduino, LEGO Education, VEX Robotics, AI, or STEM education is an added advantage.
• Prior experience teaching robotics, coding, or STEM subjects in schools or educational institutions is preferred.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver interactive robotics and STEM lessons aligned with the school's curriculum.
• Teach students the fundamentals of robotics, coding, electronics, automation, and engineering concepts.
• Guide students in designing, assembling, programming, and testing robotic models using age-appropriate robotics kits and software.
• Introduce programming concepts using platforms such as Scratch, Blockly, Python, Arduino, or other relevant technologies.
• Encourage innovation through project-based learning, coding challenges, and robotics competitions.
• Assess student performance through practical assignments, projects, and classroom activities.
• Maintain robotics lab equipment, tools, and learning resources in a safe and organized manner.
• Integrate technology and digital learning tools to enhance classroom engagement.
• Collaborate with teachers and school leadership to organize STEM events, exhibitions, workshops, and competitions.
• Participate in parent-teacher meetings, faculty training sessions, and other school activities.
