Job summary

Paytm is seeking an experienced sales leader to drive growth in the QR & Sound Box vertical across assigned regions in India. You will be responsible for expanding distribution, building a high-performing field team, and delivering revenue targets.

You will recruit 5-10 TSMs and oversee 200+ indirect staff, coach and mentor, travel extensively, and communicate strategies to local partners. Strong networking and execution skills are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience in sales - business development, B2C markets.
• Strong networking capabilities and willingness to travel extensively.
• Ability to coach and mentor a large team and drive execution.

Responsibilities

• Grow distribution and market share in the assigned area.
• Increase visibility via extensive QR & Sound box deployment and sale of the product.
• Identify and recruit the sales team to align and drive business in the market.
• Plan the market size, span and geographies for ASMs.
• Communicate plans/targets to the team to minimize the expectations vs delivery gap.
• Monitor quality parameters as suggested by the management.
• Validate and conduct audits on acquisitions and sales done by the team.
• People manage a large team of 5-10 TSMs & 200+ indirect employees.

About the Role:

• 2.Visibility & accountability through extensive QR & Sound box deployment and sale of the product .
• 3.Identify and recruit the sales team to align and drive business in the market.
• 4.Plan the market size, span and geographies for ASMs .
• 5.Devise best methods for communication of plans/targets to the team so as to minimize the expectations vs delivery gap.
• 6.Monitor the quality parameters as suggested by the management.
• 7.Validate and conduct audits on the acquisitions and sales done by the team.

Must Have:

Should have good networking capabilities and be willing to travel extensively throughout their specified area. Skilled in coaching and mentoring, a quick learner who grasps and puts into application the new learnt ideas and concepts.

• 1. Self-starters, who can take ownership and are comfortable navigating ambiguity, will be an ideal fit. 8-12 years experience in sales - business development, B2C markets
• 2. Passionate about working in a fast growing firms and large team handling.
• 3. Articulate complex solutions to novice customers.
• 4. Good sales and negotiation skills. Experience in quota driven sales is a must.
• 5. Experience in payments and finance is a plus - though not mandatory
