Job summary

Freyr Energy, India’s second-largest residential rooftop solar company, seeks a seasoned manager to lead a nationwide team handling documentation and net-metering challenges. You will drive approvals, coordinate with DISCOMs, and oversee subsidy processes from application to fund release.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience with at least 2 years in a managerial role, strong communication, and expert MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities for a nationwide team of documentation and net-metering specialists.
• Monitor project approvals: feasibility, in-principle clearances, net-metering permits, CEIG.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and Execution to procure meters per DISCOM mandates.
• Oversee subsidy lifecycle from submission to fund disbursement by DISCOMs.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and orchestrate daily activities for a nationwide team of documentation and net-metering specialists.
• Monitor and manage the status of all project approvals, including feasibility studies, in-principle clearances, net-metering permits, and CEIG certifications for diverse client segments.
• Collaborate closely with Supply Chain Management and Execution units to facilitate the timely acquisition of meters, strictly adhering to the specific mandates of State Distribution Companies (DISCOMs).
• Oversee the complete subsidy lifecycle, guiding applications from initial submission through to final fund disbursement by the relevant DISCOMs.

Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline (Engineering background is preferred).
• 5 years of experience including at least 2 years of Managerial experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and project management skills.
• Candidate should have experience in leading and managing teams that are geographically spread out.
• Proficient in MS Office (especially advanced Excel & Word).
