As a Cloud Services Engineer, a typical day involves serving as the primary point of contact between the client and internal operations teams to facilitate smooth support and manage escalations effectively. This role requires continuous monitoring and communication of service delivery status to all relevant stakeholders, ensuring transparency regarding any performance challenges or potential risks. The engineer oversees cloud orchestration and automation processes, striving to maintain operations within agreed service level agreements while minimizing downtime. Regular performance review meetings are conducted to discuss consumption patterns, share insights, and identify opportunities for improvement, fostering a collaborative environment focused on service excellence.

• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

• Monitor cloud infrastructure health and proactively address potential issues to maintain service reliability.
• Support junior team members by providing guidance and facilitating knowledge sharing to enhance team capabilities.

Professional & Technical Skills

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (DBA).
• Strong knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Experience in managing backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for cloud-based databases.
• Familiarity with cloud orchestration and automation tools to support database operations.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues and implement effective solutions.
• Understanding of security best practices related to database administration in cloud environments.
