Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group is seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer to run and support Global Cloud Services 24/7. You will design, implement, and maintain cloud-based systems to ensure performance, scalability, and security across environments like AWS and Azure.

You will automate provisioning, monitoring, backups, and scaling, while optimizing costs and ensuring high availability. Collaboration with cross-functional teams for migrations, deployments, and troubleshooting is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience as a Cloud Engineer, or in a similar role.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP including compute, storage, networking, and IAM.
• Proficiency in infrastructure automation and day-to-day operations.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and cost governance.

Responsibilities

# Cloud Operations Engineer - Global Cloud Services**Job Title: – Cloud Operations Engineer - Global Cloud Services****Job Description**In this role, you will work in the position of Cloud Operations Engineer at Cloud Operations Center, responsible for running and supporting ASSA ABLOY Global Cloud Services globally, 24/7. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver & run multiple Cloud Projects / Environments for different ASSA ABLOY Business Units.**Special in this Role**In this role you will have the possibility to see immediate, direct results of your efforts, you will build environments and manage them through the entire environment lifecycle.The motto is: “Build and manage your own house”**Required Seniority Level**Mid / Senior-level, with at least 5 years of experience**Objectives of this Role:*** Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based systems for optimal performance, scalability, and security.* Automate operations, including provisioning, monitoring, backups, and scaling.* Optimize database performance, storage, and cost-efficiency across cloud platforms.* Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and failover capabilities for cloud-hosted Servers.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud migrations, deployments, and troubleshooting.**Role & Responsibilities:**In this role you will have the possibility to see immediate, direct results of your efforts, you will build environments and manage them through the entire environment lifecycle.
