Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cloud-Native Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, automate, and operate scalable, resilient cloud-native infrastructure. You will focus on container orchestration, microservices, Infrastructure as Code, and multi-cloud/hybrid environments to support modern applications in Chennai's fast-growing IT, automotive, BFSI, and manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud-native infrastructure using container technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, EKS/AKS/GKE).
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, or Helm for automated, repeatable deployments.
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, ArgoCD) for cloud-native applications and microservices.
  • Manage multi-cloud/hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) including networking, storage, security, monitoring, and cost optimization.
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, disaster recovery, and security best practices (zero-trust, encryption, RBAC, secrets management).
  • Perform cloud migrations, modernization of legacy applications to cloud-native patterns, and workload optimization.
  • Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to embed DevOps practices and support 24/7 production environments.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement observability (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch/Azure Monitor).
  • Stay current with cloud-native trends, contribute to platform roadmaps, and mentor team members.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred for senior roles).
  • 4–10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering, with 2+ years focused on cloud-native technologies.
  • Strong hands‑on expertise in Kubernetes (administration, scaling, networking, Helm charts) and containerization (Docker).
  • Proficiency in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and IaC tools (Terraform preferred).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, Linux/Unix systems, scripting (Python/Bash), and networking concepts (VPC, subnets, load balancers).
  • Knowledge of cloud security, compliance, and monitoring practices.
Preferred
  • Certifications: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure Administrator/Architect, Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, or Terraform Associate.
  • Experience with service mesh (Istio/Linkerd), serverless architectures, GitOps, or multi-cloud strategies.
  • Prior work in BFSI, automotive, manufacturing, or large-scale enterprise environments in India.
  • Familiarity with observability tools and cost management in cloud-native setups.
