Job summary

NTT DATA seeks an experienced Technology Consultant – Cloud Infrastructure Architect to design and implement secure, scalable cloud infrastructure for enterprise environments. You will lead architecture discussions, define standards, and collaborate with DevOps, security, and applications teams.

The role emphasizes IaC with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, and multi-cloud expertise, plus governance, cost optimization, and disaster recovery planning.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering and architecture, including enterprise cloud environments.
• 5+ years of experience designing solutions on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• 4+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Terraform, and infrastructure automation.
• 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes, Docker, cloud networking, and security architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure, highly available, fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Define cloud architecture, infrastructure standards, patterns, and technical roadmaps.
• Design cloud networking, security, identity and access management, compute, storage, and backup solutions.
• Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform or equivalent technologies.
• Architect containerized platforms using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Collaborate with application, DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams on cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Design solutions for high availability, disaster recovery, business continuity, and infrastructure resilience.
• Implement cloud security controls, governance, monitoring, and compliance best practices.
• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and support for complex infrastructure issues.
• Review existing infrastructure and recommend modernization, automation, and optimization opportunities.

Technology Consultant – Cloud Infrastructure Architect

Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Technology Consultant – Cloud Infrastructure Architect to design and implement secure, scalable, highly available, and resilient cloud infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in cloud architecture, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), networking, security, containers, and automation. The role involves collaborating with applications, infrastructure, security, and DevOps teams to define cloud architecture standards and support enterprise cloud transformation initiatives.

Day to Day Job Duties

• Design and implement scalable, secure, highly available, fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure solutions.
• Define cloud architecture, infrastructure standards, patterns, and technical roadmaps.

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering and architecture, including enterprise cloud environments.
• 5+ years of experience designing solutions on AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• 4+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Terraform, and infrastructure automation.
• 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes, Docker, cloud networking, and security architecture.

Nice to Have

• Experience designing multi-cloud or hybrid-cloud environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD technologies such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Ansible and configuration management automation.
• Strong understanding of IAM, network security, firewalls, load balancers, DNS, VPN, and private connectivity.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, or cloud-native monitoring services.
• Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization practices.
• Experience with enterprise cloud migration and application modernization programs.
• AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, or Terraform professional-level certifications are preferred.
• Strong architecture, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
