Job summary

Evernorth Health Services in Hyderabad is seeking a Gen AI Cloud Engineer Lead to design, implement, and deploy scalable AI solutions with a focus on privacy, security and fair use. You will work on Angular/React JS UI, Python APIs and integrate with diverse systems in an Agile setting.

The ideal candidate will lead cloud engineering for Gen AI capabilities, collaborate with business partners, and drive portal integrations and automation in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Highly technical, hands-on, collaborative profile with strong communication skills.

Role Title - Cloud Engineering Lead Analyst

The AI CoE team is seeking Gen AI Cloud Engineers from platform support background to work on the AI ecosystem. The GenAI/Platform Support Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying scalable and efficient AI solutions with a focus on privacy, security, and fairness. Key components include Angular and React JS based user interfaces, Python, a robust set of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) enabling a wide range of platform integration capabilities. This role will work directly with business partners and other IT team members to understand desired system requirements and to deliver effective solutions within the Agile methodology and participate in all phases of the development and system support life cycle.

Primary responsibilities are to support and monitor AI Platform(s) leveraging the LLM’s and other Gen AI Capabilities and provide design solution for portal integrations, enhancement, and automation requests. The ideal candidate is a technologist that brings a fresh perspective and passion to solve complex functional and technical challenges in a fast‑paced and team‑oriented environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Full stack development knowledge along with Plaform Support including triage, design, Cloud knowledge, coding and implementation.
• Perform applications reviews with Dev & Cloud teams to approve for Production deployment.
• Establish/Improve/Maintain Proactive monitoring and management of supported assets assuring performance, availability, security, and capacity
• Maintains a strong and collaborative relationship with delivery partners and business stakeholders.

Required Experience / Qualifications

• This position requires a highly technical, hands‑on, motivated and collaborative individual with exceptional communication skills, proven experience working with diverse teams of technical architects, business users and IT areas on all phases of the software development life‑cycle
• 6-8 Years of Experience with at least 3 years in Platform Support role for full stack applications preferably in AI Domain.
• 2+ year experience/exposure in DevOps.
• Experience preferred in developing Gen AI Solutions and its integration with other systems.
• Experience working within the healthcare industry is desirable.
• Experience working with platform and products like Splunk, Dynatrace, OpenShift, Azure, AWS, ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with healthcare‑specific IT systems and industry regulations, such as Electronic Health Record systems and HIPAA, is an added advantage

Detailed List Of Skillset Required –

Back-End Skills

• Server‑Side Languages: Knowledge in server‑side languages such as Python, Node.js.
• APIs: Experience in building and consuming RESTful, Flask / Fast API / GraphQL APIs.
• Database Management: Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.

DevOps and Cloud Skills

• Containerization and Orchestration: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes / OpenShift for containerization and orchestration of applications.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment tools and practices, preferably GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Security Best Practices: Understanding security principles and best practices for protecting data and systems, including IAM, encryption and network Security.
• Cloud Services: Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for deploying and managing applications and AI models.

Additional Skills

• Version Control: Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
• Software Development Practices: Understanding of agile methodologies, testing, and code review practices.

Education And Training Required

Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.

Location & Hours of Work:

• Shift Timings: 5.30 am -2.30 pm IST/5.30 pm - 2.30 am IST
• Full-time position, working 45 hours per week. Expected overlap with US hours as appropriate.
• Primarily based in the Innovation Hub in Hyderabad, India, with flexibility to work remotely as required.
