Job summary

Charles River Development, a State Street company, is searching for a Cloud Engineer to join its Cloud Platform Engineering team in Hyderabad. The role focuses on Azure CSPM, policy automation, and cloud governance within a DevSecOps model.

You will implement policy definitions, monitor compliance, and develop policy-as-code and automation across Azure resources. Collaboration with security and engineering teams is essential to strengthen the organization’s security posture.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience in cloud engineering, cloud operations, cloud governance, or cloud security, with hands-on Azure experience.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Policy, including definitions, initiatives, assignments, exemptions, remediations, and compliance reporting.
• Experience with CSPM, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, or similar cloud security solutions.
• Experience with infrastructure as code, scripting, and automation using Terraform, PowerShell, Python, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Familiarity with source control, CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of Azure governance concepts including management groups, subscriptions, RBAC, tagging, and policy enforcement.
• Good troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Charles River Development is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join its Cloud Platform Engineering team with a focus on Azure Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), Azure Policy automation, and cloud governance. The role will support implementation, automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of governance and security controls across Azure environments. The Cloud Engineer will work with engineering and security teams to improve cloud compliance, automate policy guardrails, and strengthen security posture within a modern DevSecOps operating model.

Key Responsibilities - Cloud Engineer

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge of Azure networking, private endpoints, hybrid connectivity, and secure communication patterns.
• Microsoft Azure certifications related to security, governance, infrastructure, or cloud administration.
• Experience working in agile delivery environments and DevSecOps operating models.
