Requirements
- Experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, preferably in Azure, AWS or GCP.
- Hands‑on experience deploying and managing infrastructure components.
- Working knowledge of Terraform, ARM, or Bicep for infrastructure deployment.
- Experience implementing job and task automation using tools such as Azure Automation, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, or scheduled scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Experience supporting Windows and Linux systems in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with Azure networking concepts (VNets, NSGs, routing, VPNs).
- Ability to work effectively with distributed teams and overlapping time zones.
- Experience supporting infrastructure in regulated or audit‑driven environments.
- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automation workflows.
- Familiarity with Defender for Cloud and infrastructure security remediation.
- Experience with enterprise job scheduling or orchestration platforms.
- Understanding backup, disaster recovery, and high availability concepts.
- Azure certifications such as AZ‑104 or equivalent.
- Timely execution of infrastructure builds and remediation tasks.
- Reduction in operational backlog through effective automation.
- Improved patch and configuration compliance across Azure workloads.
- Reliable execution of scheduled jobs with minimal manual intervention.

Job Description
- Implement infrastructure components based on approved architectural designs and standards.
- Deploy and manage Azure resources including virtual machines, networking, storage, and platform services.
- Support infrastructure delivery across development, QA, and production environments.
Automation & Infrastructure as Code
- Implement infrastructure using Terraform, ARM, or Bicep in accordance with defined standards.
- Support CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment and configuration management.
- Develop and maintain job and task automation for recurring operational activities, including patching, validation, cleanup, and reporting.
- Assist with remediation of legacy or brownfield environments to align with Infrastructure‑as‑Code practices.
Operations, Patching & Reliability
- Execute Windows and Linux patching and baseline configuration activities.
- Perform remediation tasks identified through vulnerability assessments and security reviews.
- Utilize automation and scheduling tools to reliably execute and monitor recurring operational jobs.
- Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery environment implementation.
- Monitor infrastructure health and respond to operational issues as required.
Security & Compliance Support
- Partner with the Information Security Engineer to implement infrastructure‑level security remediations.
- Apply security configuration changes required to support NIST and audit alignment.
- Implement Defender for Cloud recommendations and secure baseline configurations.
- Collaborate with offshore and onshore team members to ensure consistent delivery and operational handoffs.
- Document implemented changes, operational procedures, runbooks, and automated workflows.
- Participate in knowledge transfer and follow‑the‑sun operational models.
