Job summary

iEnergizer is hiring a Cloud Engineer for a leading US-based financial services client. You will design, engineer and secure enterprise AWS and Google Cloud platforms, with a focus on production-ready AI workloads, auditable and secure at scale.

You will land zones, governance, IAM, networking and data protection, while building Terraform pipelines and GitOps workflows. You will mentor engineers and collaborate with Cloud, Security and Engineering teams across multi-cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cloud engineering, platform engineering or cloud architecture.
• Deep expertise in AWS or GCP; hands-on provisioning and governance.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve enterprise AWS/GCP platforms, landing zones and governance models.
• Own multi-project and multi-cloud architecture and organisation hierarchy.
• Architect security controls for AI platforms: data protection, API and model endpoint security, identity boundaries.
• Lead network architecture: Shared VPC, Private Service Connect, VPN and Interconnect.
• Harden ingress and egress paths; enforce segmentation and zero-trust principles.
• Build and standardise Terraform infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
• Implement IAM, VPC Service Controls, KMS and DLP; integrate with Wiz, SIEM and vulnerability tools.
• Advise Cloud, Security and Engineering teams and mentor engineers.

We are hiring a Cloud Engineer for a leading US-based financial services company. You will design, engineer and secure enterprise AWS and Google Cloud platforms, with a focus on making AI workloads production-ready, auditable and secure at scale. This includes landing zones, networking, identity, data protection and controlled access to services such as Bedrock, Vertex AI and Gemini.

Shift and work mode

• US shift, aligned to Pacific Time (approx. 9:30 PM to 6:30 AM IST)
• Full-time, work from office

What you will do

What you need

• 8+ years in cloud engineering, platform engineering or cloud architecture

• Landing zone design, governance and cloud security architecture
• Hands-on Terraform and CI/CD (GitLab or similar)
• Experience securing APIs, external endpoints and AI-integrated workloads

Good to have

• Vertex AI, Gemini or other AI platforms, from a platform or security angle
• AI security, model protection and data governance frameworks
• Wiz, DLP, SIEM and CSPM tools
• Multi-cloud experience (AWS preferred)
• GCP Professional Cloud Architect or Security Engineer certification
