Job summary

INFINX is seeking a Cloud Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role focuses on migrating the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) to GCP and enabling modern analytics and AI/ML workloads.

This position builds the backbone pipelines for the cloud EDW, ensuring BI and AI/ML teams access timely, trusted data. The engineer will collaborate with BI and DTA teams, implement CI/CD with Jenkins and Bitbucket, and ensure data security and governance

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data engineering with GCP experience.
• Strong Python and SQL.
• Hands‑on with BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Dataproc.
• Experience with dbt/Airflow/Composer for orchestration.
• Experience integrating APIs and SaaS sources using Airbyte.
• Knowledge of data formats (Parquet, Avro, JSON, Delta Lake).

Job Summary

We are seeking a Cloud Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role is central to migrating our Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) to GCP and enabling modern analytics and AI/ML workloads. This role builds the backbone pipelines for our modern cloud EDW, ensuring that BI and AI/ML teams have timely, trusted data.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Build and maintain pipelines using BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, and Dataproc.

• Model schemas and design curated datasets in BigQuery for BI and analytics teams.
• Collaborate with Business Intelligence (BI) and Digital Transformation Analytics (DTA) teams to provide clean, trusted datasets.
• Implement CI/CD using Jenkins and Bitbucket.
• Ensure security and governance (IAM, encryption, HIPAA compliance).
