Job summary

Intellect Design Arena Ltd. is seeking an experienced Cloud Governance and Security leader for on-site work in Chennai. The role focuses on guiding security across cloud platforms, driving audits, and shaping secure cloud adoption in collaboration with Program, DevOps, CloudOps, and customers.

You will mentor junior staff and apply your deep knowledge of cloud security frameworks and compliance to protect critical financial technology solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Cloud Governance and Security.
• 5+ years hands-on experience in AWS and Azure services and deployments.
• Strong background in Audit, Assurance, and Security (from Technology Risk / CISO office / Consulting).
• Solid understanding of cloud security frameworks and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud security governance, risk, and compliance initiatives across AWS and Azure environments.
• Perform cloud security assessments, audits, and assurance activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Program, DevOps, CloudOps, and customers to ensure secure cloud adoption.
• Drive implementation of cloud security best practices, policies, and standards.
• Work closely with stakeholders from Technology Risk, CISO office, and consulting teams.
• Mentor and guide junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead cloud security governance, risk, and compliance initiatives across AWS and Azure environments
• Perform cloud security assessments, audits, and assurance activities

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of overall experience in Cloud Governance and Security
• Hands-on experience (5+ years) in AWS and Azure across various services and deployments
• Strong background in Audit, Assurance, and Security (preferably from Technology Risk / CISO office / Consulting firms)
• Good understanding of cloud security frameworks and compliance standards

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
• Exposure to cloud security tools and platforms like CNAPP, CSPM, and other OEM solutions
