Job summary

Wipro Limited is seeking an AWS cloud Engineer to maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. You will design high-availability patterns, automate operations, and collaborate with security and infra teams to enforce DevSecOps standards.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting incidents, improving platform reliability, and delivering scalable, well-documented solutions across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with cloud AWS DevOps and design of scalable CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong Linux command line skills and basic scripting.
• Familiarity with AWS services (EC2, RDS, VPC, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch).
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure as code.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines in GitLab or similar tools.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and follow security practices.

Role Purpose

AWS cloud Engineer

• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and Kubernetes platforms to ensure reliable and repeatable application deployments.
• Design and implement resiliency patterns—high availability, failover, rollback, and disaster recovery to minimize downtime and business impact.
• Monitor platform health, automate operational tasks, and rapidly troubleshoot incidents to improve system stability and mean‑time‑to‑recovery (MTTR).
• Partner with application, security, and infrastructure teams to enforce DevSecOps standards, reliability controls, and compliance requirements.
• Continuously improve platform reliability, scalability, and developer experience through automation, observability, and operational excellence.

Gathering of requirements-Assist in conducting workshops and discussions with client stakeholders to gather business process requirements.

Coding and Configuration-Develop and deliver code for assigned modules, in alignment with client requirements ensuring proper integration with system components.

Testing and Trial Runs-Execute testing for assigned modules, validate functionality across required interactions, and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions.

Implementation-Participate in implementation of software application and its integration with other systems to ensure stability.

Maintain Documentation-Prepare detailed reports and documentation on project specifications, activities, and status, while presenting information using flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, code comments, and clear, well‑structured code.

Stakeholder Collaboration-Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand requirements, support development activities, check system compatibility, and ensure solutions meet expected standards.
