Key Responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of cloud architectures in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Hands‑on experience deploying, configuring and managing Amazon EC2 instances, containers, clusters & Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of container technologies (Docker) and Kubernetes architecture.
- Basic knowledge of working with IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation or Ansible.
- Ability to write scripts using Python, PowerShell or Bash for deployment and automation.
- Good knowledge of cloud security requirements, standards and best practices.
- Experience with cloud environments to detect security breaches or misconfigurations.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security tools and controls.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans.
- Implement and manage cloud‑native security solutions such as Azure Security Center, AWS GuardDuty, GCP Security Command Center, etc.
- Automate security controls using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Respond to cloud security incidents and perform root cause analysis.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with experience in threat detection and incident response in cloud environments.
- Stay up to date with the latest cloud threats and security technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- 2+ years of hands‑on experience in cloud security or cloud infrastructure roles.
- Experience with one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Basic knowledge of security tools such as SIEM, CSPM, IAM, and EDR.
- Good understanding of network security, encryption, and secure APIs.
- Experience with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in scripting skills (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks like NIST, CIS Benchmarks, or GDPR.
