Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Cloud Architect with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud solutions. This role demands a strategic thinker who can assess, modernize, and optimize enterprise systems while guiding migration and transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud architecture strategies and hybrid solutions.
• Evaluate existing infrastructure and define migration strategies (Lift & Shift, Refactor, Re-platform).
• Develop detailed migration and rollback plans, including performance optimization.
• Leverage scripting (PowerShell, Python, ARM templates) to automate deployments and operations.
• Ensure security, access control, identity management, and compliance across Azure environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Security teams to deliver CI/CD pipelines and policy-compliant infrastructure.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead architectural discussions with stakeholders.
• Provide post-migration support, performance tuning, and cost optimization.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years in cloud architecture, with 5+ years in Microsoft Azure.
• Proficiency with Azure services including VMs, Database Services, Front Door, AKS, Azure Functions, and DevOps
• Strong scripting skills for automation and orchestration.
• Deep understanding of cloud security principles and architecture best practices.
• Experience with troubleshooting hybrid cloud and infrastructure issues.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and business audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure certifications (Solutions Architect Expert, DevOps Engineer Expert).
• Knowledge of IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with multi-cloud strategies (Azure + AWS).
• Experience in CI/CD automation and DevOps practices.
• Exposure to data analytics and big data services on Azure.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
