Job summary

Capgemini Engineering invites a senior Cloud Architect to lead architecture and delivery of scalable cloud-native IoT platforms. You will steer design across edge to cloud, collaborating with engineering, product, and business teams to build enterprise-grade SaaS solutions.

• Proficiency in .NET, Go, or Python.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with React or Angular for modern web apps.
• Strong CI/CD, DevOps practices, and SaaS release processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Job description

Join a team building next-generation Cloud and IoT solutions that drive digital transformation across industries. As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-native platforms, enabling seamless integration between edge devices, enterprise systems, and cloud services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions leveraging modern cloud, IoT, data streaming, and AI technologies.

Your Role

You will lead the architecture and development of enterprise-grade cloud and IoT platforms, driving solution design from edge to cloud. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to build scalable applications, integrate cloud services, and establish best practices for modern SaaS platforms and cloud-native architectures.

In this role, you will:

• Architect and build scalable enterprise solutions and SaaS platforms on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Design and implement end-to-end IoT solutions spanning Edge, Cloud, and Enterprise applications.
• Develop and integrate cloud-native applications utilizing PaaS services and microservices architectures.
• Design and optimize NoSQL and RDBMS databases, including data modeling, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Build and manage API-driven integrations using public and enterprise APIs.
• Develop cloud-native backend services using .NET, Golang, or Python.
• Implement real-time data processing solutions using Kafka, Kinesis, Pulsar, or similar streaming platforms.
• Collaborate with UI teams to deliver modern web and mobile applications using React or Angular.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and release management processes for SaaS applications.
• Work closely with multiple engineering teams to ensure seamless integration, scalability, security, and operational excellence.
• Contribute to the development of innovative cloud and IoT platform capabilities from concept through production deployment.
• Evaluate and implement emerging technologies, including AI-enabled solutions and RAG-based architectures where applicable.

Your Profile

Mandatory Skills

• 9–12 years of hands-on experience designing and building scalable enterprise applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and SaaS platform architecture.
• Hands-on experience in IoT application development and cloud-native solution design.
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure services and platform engineering.
• Strong knowledge of NoSQL and relational databases, including schema design, modeling, and indexing.
• Experience with data streaming platforms such as Kafka, Kinesis, or Pulsar.
• Proficiency in .NET, Golang, or Python development.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and cloud-native microservices.
• Familiarity with React or Angular for modern web application development.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and SaaS release processes.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Power, Energy, Industrial Automation, Manufacturing, or Rail industry domains.
• Exposure to AI/ML solutions and Generative AI applications.
• Experience building applications using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance frameworks.
