Job Description

We are an IT services and solutions company looking for an experienced Cloud Architect to lead our cloud strategy. In this role, you will design secure, scalable, and high-performance cloud environments. You will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring our infrastructure is reliable, cost-effective, and future-proof.

Responsibilities

• Architect Solutions: Design and implement cloud architectures that meet business needs, focusing on security, scalability, and performance.
• Lead Migrations: Direct the migration of legacy on-premise applications and workloads to the cloud.
• Ensure Best Practices: Define and enforce standards for cloud governance, compliance, and security.
• Optimize & Monitor: Continuously improve infrastructure for cost efficiency and reliability using monitoring and observability tools.
• Automate Everything: Build and CI/CD pipelines and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Mentor & Lead: Provide technical leadership to development and DevOps teams, fostering a culture of engineering excellence.
• Innovate: Evaluate new tools, managed services, and emerging technologies to keep our capabilities cutting‑edge.

Qualifications

• Cloud Expertise: Deep expertise in at least one major provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with strong understanding of a second.
• Architecture Experience: Proven track record in designing cloud solutions, migrations, and modernization projects.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Advanced proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Containerization: Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, or GKE).
• DevSecOps: Experience building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) and integrating security best practices.
• Networking & Security: Solid understanding of VPCs, load balancers, firewalls, IAM, OAuth2, and VPNs.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills, with ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred

• AWS: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EKS, CloudFormation, IAM.
• Observability: Experience with tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.
