Job summary

Forward Eye Technologies is seeking a Cloud Application Developer with GCP and DevOps expertise to join our fast-growing team. This hybrid/remote role focuses on designing, building, and deploying cloud-native applications using Google Cloud Platform and modern CI/CD practices.

You will work with engineers to implement IaC, containerization, and scalable cloud solutions, while ensuring security and cost efficiency across environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development with cloud focus.
• Hands-on with GCP App Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, GKE.
• Proficient in Python, Go or Java and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native apps on GCP.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Cloud Build).
• Apply IaC using Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and developers to scale solutions.
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting (Stackdriver/Prometheus).
• Ensure security, reliability, and cost efficiency in the cloud.
• Support containers with Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).

Are you passionate about building scalable cloud-native applications and automating everything with DevOps best practices? We are looking for a Cloud Application Developer with expertise in GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and strong DevOps skills to join our fast-growing technology team!

What Youll Do :

• Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Cloud Build
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform or Deployment Manager
• Collaborate with architects, DevOps engineers, and other developers to deliver scalable cloud solutions
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting with Stackdriver, Prometheus, or similar tools
• Ensure applications are secure, reliable, and cost-efficient in the cloud environment
• Support containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes (GKE)

What Were Looking For :

• 3+ years of experience in software development with a focus on cloud-based architectures
• Hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) App Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, GKE, etc.
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles and tools
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Java
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, IaC, containerization, and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and security practices in the cloud
• GCP Certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Developer or DevOps Engineer) are a big plus!

Nice to Have :

• Experience with multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS)
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and API management
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
