Job summary

ACGI seeks an experienced cloud & server infrastructure lead to administer Azure services (AKS, App Services, SQL, Cosmos DB, Key Vault) and Windows/Linux servers. You will enhance reliability, implement monitoring, and drive security/compliance initiatives across development centers and customer deployments.

Responsibilities include infrastructure automation with Terraform/Bicep, scripting in PowerShell/Python/Bash, and governance documentation.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Azure cloud, server infrastructure and operations for enterprise and customer environments.
• Experience designing highly available, scalable cloud and on-prem architectures.
• Familiar with ISO, GxP cybersecurity and governance requirements.

Job description

Lead the administration, reliability and continuous improvement of ACGI's cloud and server platforms across development centres and customer deployments. Ensure secure, scalable and highly available Azure and server infrastructure that supports engineering, manufacturing solutions and customer installations.

B. Primary Responsibilities

• Administer Azure services including AKS, App Services, Azure SQL, API Management, Cosmos DB, Azure Functions, Storage Accounts and Key Vault.
• Manage cloud availability, performance, scalability and disaster recovery.
• Support hybrid cloud connectivity for customer solutions.
• Maintain cloud governance standards and infrastructure documentation.

Server Infrastructure

• Manage Windows and Linux servers, operating systems, patching, upgrades, backups and capacity planning.
• Ensure server availability, health monitoring and lifecycle management.
• Maintain server security baselines and configuration standards.

Customer Infrastructure

• Maintain compatibility across operating systems, infrastructure components and application versions.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Operations for hardware–software infrastructure readiness.

Reliability, Monitoring & Security

• Implement monitoring using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Prometheus and Grafana.
• Support Site Reliability Engineering practices including incident response, root cause analysis, SLIs/SLOs and continual service improvement.
• Implement RBAC, Managed Identity, Key Vault, Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Support ISO, GxP and cybersecurity compliance initiatives.

Infrastructure Automation

• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Bicep.
• Create automation scripts using PowerShell, Python or Bash for routine operational tasks.
• Support Azure DevOps infrastructure pipelines and environment provisioning.

Operations & IT Governance

• Develop and maintain infrastructure SOPs, standards and operational documentation.
• Participate in ITIL incident, problem and change management.
• Perform infrastructure audits and ensure compliance with internal standards.
• Coordinate with vendors for cloud platform support and licensing where required.
• Work closely with Product Engineering, QA, DevOps, Information Security and Customer Support teams.
• Mentor junior infrastructure engineers and share technical knowledge.
• Provide infrastructure recommendations for future product and platform improvements.

C. Technical Skills

D. Educational & Experience Requirements

Experience: 8+ years in Azure cloud, server infrastructure and operations, including experience supporting enterprise and customer-hosted environments.

Preferred Certifications: AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-400 or equivalent Microsoft Azure certifications.
