Job summary

ZS is seeking an experienced Cloud Administrator to join our Pune, India office. This role is responsible for deploying and administering a cloud-based computing platform within ZS.

You will manage AWS infrastructure across Prod, Stage and Dev, ensure high availability, and collaborate with Engineering, Security and Data teams to build secure, scalable cloud architectures. A CS/IT/EE degree and 1–3 years of AWS experience are required, with strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in CS, IT or EE with a record of high academic achievement.
• 1-3 years of experience in AWS and on-premise infrastructure security administration.
• Experience with MLPS controls is a plus.
• Strong communication skills in English; ability to present to teams.
• Global team environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of AWS infrastructure across Prod, Stage, and Dev.
• Handle incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for AWS services.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of cloud applications.
• Monitor system health and costs using AWS tools.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and Data teams for secure cloud architectures.
• Assist in infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.
• Support drift detection and remediation between desired and actual states.
• Contribute to automation of repetitive tasks.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines to enable deployments.

Cloud Administrator

We seek an experienced, professional Cloud Administrator to join our Pune, India office. This role is responsible for deploying and administering a cloud‑based computing platform within ZS.

What You’ll Do:

As an Cloud Administrator in the Enterprise you will -

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of AWS infrastructure across multiple accounts and environments (Prod, Stage, Dev).
• Handle incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, EMR, CloudWatch, and IAM.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of cloud‑based applications.
• Monitor system health, utilisation, and cost metrics using AWS‑native tools (CloudWatch, Cost Explorer, etc.).
• Perform regular operational activities including access management, resource optimisation, patching coordination, and service requests.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Security, and Data teams to enable secure and scalable cloud architectures.
• Support infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform modules and templates.
• Assist in maintaining consistency between desired and actual cloud states (drift detection and remediation)
• Contribute to automation of repetitive operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines to enable infrastructure deployment and updates

What You’ll Bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree in CS, IT or EE with record of high academic achievement.
• 1-3 years of experience in AWS and on‑premise infrastructure security administration.
• Experience on participating MLPS and understanding of related controls is a plus.
• Possess strong verbal, written and team presentation communication skills.
• Ability to work within a global (US and India) team environment and contribute to the overall timely delivery of multiple projects.
