Job summary

Alignerr is seeking an experienced Clinical Study Manager (AI Training) for a fully remote hourly contract. You will oversee operational execution of clinical trials, ensuring scientific rigour and timely delivery while supporting AI training data development.

You will coordinate with CROs, vendors, and internal teams, manage timelines and budgets, and proactively mitigate risks. This flexible role offers ongoing project work with potential extensions.

What You'll Do

• Manage clinical trial timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure studies stay on track and meet quality standards
• Oversee study budgets, financial forecasting, and cost tracking across multiple vendors and research partners
• Coordinate with CROs, investigative sites, and internal teams to drive smooth, compliant study execution
• Identify operational risks early, resolve issues proactively, and keep all stakeholders aligned throughout the trial lifecycle
• Apply your clinical expertise to evaluate and inform AI training data related to clinical research workflows

Who You Are

• Experienced in clinical trial project management — you've owned timelines, budgets, and deliverables across multiple studies
• Skilled at managing CROs, external vendors, and research partners with confidence
• Able to juggle multiple workstreams and keep complex, cross-functional studies running smoothly
• Detail-oriented and solutions-focused — you spot problems before they become crises
• Clear communicator who keeps teams and stakeholders informed and aligned

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality review, or evaluation systems
• Familiarity with AI tools or data-driven research platforms
• Background spanning multiple therapeutic areas or trial phases
