About The Role

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Clinical Pharmacologist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. This role is central to improving patient safety and clinical outcomes by ensuring the safe, appropriate, and cost‑effective use of medications.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical Oversight & Patient Safety
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure optimal medication therapy for patients.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary patient rounds, including transplant and critical care units.
  • Audit patient records to identify and mitigate medication errors, drug interactions, and adverse drug events (ADEs).
  • Make and communicate evidence‑based interventions to optimize therapy outcomes.
Medication Management & Quality Initiatives
  • Conduct Drug Utilization Reviews (DURs) to assess medication usage trends and compliance.
  • Actively participate in the Antibiotic Stewardship Program and ensure safe use of cautionary antibiotics.
  • Identify and manage drug‑related problems and recommend patient‑centric medication strategies.
Necessary Qualifications & Skills
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) – Mandatory
  • 0-3 years of clinical experience (preferably in a hospital setting)
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacotherapy, drug safety, and clinical protocols
  • Exposure to chemotherapy, immunosuppressants, transplant, or critical care is an advantage
  • Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
