Job summary

Medpace India is expanding its clinical operations in Navi Mumbai and seeks professionals with a nursing or pharmacy background to drive growth in coding and data management across oncology and related therapeutic areas.

Candidates should have 2+ years of direct patient care experience, ICU exposure preferred, and familiarity with MedDRA/WHO Drug dictionaries. The role offers an opportunity to join a global CRO with ongoing regional development and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Pharmacy with clinical focus.
• 2+ years nursing or pharmacy experience with direct patient care.
• ICU experience is preferred.
• Experience with Hematology/Oncology or related fields is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Code and review medical terms and medications using dictionaries.
• Coordinate dictionary selection and develop coding guidelines.
• Collaborate with Data Management and Medical Monitors to resolve queries.
• Generate coding reports and ensure timely, quality study deliverables.

Overview

Medpace is a full-service clinical contract research organization (CRO) providing phase l-lV clinical development services to the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries. Responsibilities

• Perform accurate coding and review of medical terms and medications using industry-standard and company-specific dictionaries.
• Coordinate dictionary selection, develop coding guidelines, and ensure consistent application across studies.
• Collaborate with Data Management and Medical Monitors to resolve coding queries and support study-related decisions.
• Generate coding reports, track timelines, and ensure quality, compliance, and timely delivery of study deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Nursing/ Pharmacy, or more advanced clinical degree;
• 2+ years of Clinical nursing or pharmacy experience with direct patient care in Hematology/Oncology, Metabolic, Infectious Disease, Nephrology, Neurology/Musculoskeletal, or Cardiovascular areas; ICU experience preferred.
• Hands-on Hematology/Oncology, administration and management of treatment-related side effects required.
• Hospital or clinical research coding, MedDRA and WHO Drug dictionaries experience is an added advantage.
