Job summary

Philips is seeking a Clinical Applications Specialist MR in Pune. You will join the Global MR Clinical Specialist Team to support clinical activities, protocol delivery, workflow testing and product validation within the clinical application domain.

You will contribute to software and application testing to improve image quality and user readiness, while building specialist knowledge through scanning, validation, and collaboration with radiologists, technologists and development teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in imaging-related field (preferred: medical imaging, MBRT, radiography, imaging technology).
• 2–3 years of solid MRI clinical experience or equivalent exposure with MR protocols and physics.
• Fluent English with strong communication, teamwork, adaptability and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Global MR Clinical Specialist Team activities and support clinical tasks within a focus area.
• Assist with protocol and ExampleCard delivery, testing, validation, and issue documentation to improve quality.
• Contribute to software/app testing to improve maturity, image quality and workflow readiness.

Job Description

Job title: Clinical Application Specialist MR

Contribute to the Global MR Clinical Specialist Team by supporting clinical activities, protocol and ExampleCard delivery, workflow testing, product validation, and issue follow-up within the clinical application domain.

Your role:

• You will be part of the Global MR Clinical Specialist Team, contributing to defined clinical activities within a specific focus area.
• You will support protocol and ExampleCard delivery as part of product quality assurance and help improve clinical imaging and workflow quality through assigned testing, findings collection, and issue documentation.
• You will contribute to software and application testing to improve maturity, image quality, workflow quality, and customer readiness.
• You will build clinical specialist knowledge through active participation in scanning, validation, development support, and feedback discussions.
• You will support activities in the anatomical domain, including development support, customer complaint analysis, clinical user need input, feasibility testing, product validation support, monitoring of FOK sites, and training support.
• You will support site specific clinical scanning execution by helping with scanner readiness, volunteer scanning logistics, bay booking, operator readiness, compliance support, and customer visit preparation.

You're the right fit if:

1. You have a minimum Bachelor’s degree, preferably in medical imaging, MBRT, radiography, imaging technology, or a related field.
2. You bring solid clinical working experience with MRI, preferably around 2–3 years or equivalent practical exposure, with working knowledge of MR protocols, application workflows, and basic MR physics.
3. You can contribute to protocol optimization, clinical testing, application workflow assessment, requirements gathering, technical documentation, and issue follow-up under guidance from senior clinical specialists.
4. You are fluent in English and bring strong soft skills: clear communication, teamwork across sites, problem solving, adaptability, critical thinking, time management, and respectful collaboration with peers, technologists, radiologists, development teams, and other stakeholders.
