Job summary

Accenture in India is seeking a Client Financial Management Specialist to lead FP&A activities and drive profitability across client engagements. With 7–11 years of experience and an MBA, you will provide strategic decision-support and guide budgeting and forecasting to support business goals.

You will work with a global finance team, coordinate with auditors, ensure US-GAAP and SOX compliance, and collaborate across commercial functions to communicate financial positions.

Qualifications

• Master of Business Administration required.
• 7–11 years of relevant experience in client financial management and FP&A.

What would you do?

• Client Financial Management (CFM) is responsible for delivering business advisory services to Accenture client teams throughout the lifecycle of a contract.
• As a Client Financial Management Specialist, you might spend your day:
• Providing strategic decision-making support, analysis, and advice to client engagement teams to maximize the profitability of engagements.
• Fostering a collaborative environment across commercial functions, account leadership, and finance organization to communicate the position of contract or account financials.

• Provide value-added financial management, analysis, and advice to client engagement teams to maximize the profitability of engagements.
• Collaborate with client and engagement executives, client group finance leads (or equivalent), and other finance operations executives to communicate the position and status of contract or account financial position.
• Complete standard MTD or QTD financial and operational activities and processes.
• Fulfill invoicing and collections, consistent with contractual requirements. Perform Inventory and Receivables management, including monitoring of variances Roles and Responsibilities:
• In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of moderately complex problems.
• May create new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures.
• The person would require understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
• Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor.
• May interact with peers and or management levels at a client and or within Accenture.
• Guidance would be provided when determining methods and procedures on new assignments.
• Decisions made by you will often impact the team in which they reside.
• Individual would manage small teams and or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.
