Job summary

Cigma Medical Coding is seeking experienced HCC coders for our Noida office. You will assign ICD-10-CM and CPT codes, ensure accurate HCC mappings for risk adjustment, and apply CMS guidelines across audits. This full-time role emphasizes accuracy, productivity, and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of HCC experience, a mandatory certification, and solid knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and ICD-10. No relocation required; on-site work from Noida, India.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in HCC coding.
• Bachelor’s or any degree with relevant certification may apply.
• Mandatory certification for HCC coding.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology and ICD-10.

Responsibilities

• Assign codes to diagnoses and procedures using ICD-10-CM and CPT codes.
• Accurately map codes to Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCCs) for risk adjustment.
• Apply CMS and official coding guidelines to reflect patient conditions correctly.
• Maintain high accuracy and productivity in coding and auditing.
• Conduct audits (retrospective, concurrent, prospective) for quality and compliance.
• Verify documentation supports the assigned codes.
• Identify coding discrepancies during audits.
