Job summary

Pumo Technovation in Pune, India is seeking passionate Civil Engineering Trainers/Mentors to deliver industry-oriented training programs. You will train students in core civil concepts, software tools and practical site knowledge to make them job-ready.

Responsibilities include delivering sessions on construction, surveying and estimation, mentoring students, and preparing them for interviews. Immediate joiners preferred; Work from Office role with no work-from-home option.

Qualifications

• B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering required.
• 05-10 years of experience in teaching/training or industry roles.
• Construction / Site Engineering exposure preferred.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering fundamentals and CAD/BIM tools.
• Good communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging training sessions on civil engineering topics such as construction and site execution, quantity surveying and estimation, structural concepts and materials.
• Provide hands-on training with CAD/BIM tools (AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, STAAD Pro, ETABS, SketchUp).
• Develop and update training materials, assignments and real-time case studies.
• Mentor students and guide them on career paths in civil engineering.
• Support placement activities by preparing students for interviews.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging training sessions on civil engineering topics such as:
• Construction & site execution
• Quantity surveying & estimation
• Structural concepts and materials
• Provide hands-on training in tools like:
• AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla software, STAAD Pro, ETABS, SketchUp, etc.
• Develop and update training materials, assignments, and real-time case studies
• Conduct practical demonstrations and project-based learning sessions
• Mentor students and guide them on career paths in civil engineering
• Evaluate student performance through assessments, assignments, and feedback
• Support placement activities by preparing students for interviews
• Stay updated with current industry trends and technologies

Roles & Responsibilities (Mentor Perspective):

• Act as a career mentor and guide students toward industry readiness
• Provide real-time insights into construction practices and site challenges
• Assist students in understanding drawings, BOQs, estimation, and billing
• Conduct doubt-clearing sessions and one-on-one mentoring
• Motivate and track student progress regularly

Required Qualifications:

• B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering
• 05-10 years of experience in:
• Teaching / Training OR company side experienced candidates, those are willing to teach or coach the candidates
• Construction / Site Engineering
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering fundamentals and software tools
• Good communication and presentation skills
